The Client
Aruba Domains is an international cloud-based platform developed in collaboration with Aruba SpA and Namecase GmbH to provide services dedicated to brand protection, such as the management and sale of internet domains and trademarks.
The needs
The client’s requirement was to quickly develop a platform to enter the international market for the purchase, sale, and management of internet domains, trademarks, and brand protection services. To achieve this goal, they needed an agile team with experience in building cloud-native applications.
Solution
After a thorough study of the client's idea, we designed a B2C Cloud-native platform on AWS, highly scalable and redundant, integrating all functions for the buying, selling, and management of internet domains, trademarks and brand protection services.
The registration and management of internet domains is simplified thanks to integration with various providers and NICs. Users can easily configure DNS settings and monitor expiration dates. The software also allows the purchase and registration of national, European and community trademarks.
The software offers a personalized purchasing process, allowing the sale of mixed products and services with different store logics. With the highly customizable price configurator, users can manage real-time promotions, dynamic discounts, and create bundles tailored to the client's needs.
The platform operates in an international context, with multi-language and multi-currency functionalities. VAT calculation is automatically managed. Various payment options are integrated, including Stripe, PayPal, ApplePay and SEPA bank transfers. The platform also supports federated logins through Google, Apple, and other providers.
The software is continuously evolving, integrating new services and functionalities. It is currently operational, ensuring continuity while gathering constant feedback from users to improve usability and performance.

DOMAIN REGISTRATION
The domain registration module allows for a simple and fast purchase of internet domains. It includes tools to check availability and choose from various extensions, including geographic ones and gTLDs. Currently, the platform supports up to 500 different TLDs, but it is rapidly expanding. Existing domains can also be transferred to Aruba Domains, ensuring a smooth migration.
DOMAIN MANAGEMENT
Domain management is centralized and secure. The platform allows monitoring and updating of data related to registered domains, including technical information, registrant details, and activity logs. With a cloud-based database, operations are tracked and stored in compliance with security regulations. Users can also manage DNS settings and configure either manual renewal or auto-renewal of domains.
DOMAIN BROKERAGE
The brokerage system allows users to submit purchase offers and initiate commercial negotiations with the support of Aruba Domains operators. The platform also features Premium domains associated with more complex negotiations.
DOMAIN MONITORING
Domain monitoring helps assess the level of brand protection. Aruba Domains periodically scans all types of domains similar to the user's brand and provides reports and recommendations to improve their online presence. The platform helps detect suspicious activities and offers detailed reports for informed and proactive management.
TRADEMARK REGISTRATION
The system supports the registration and management of corporate trademarks, automatically generating the required documentation. Users can follow the entire registration process while communicating with a dedicated lawyer, simplifying the overall procedure and speeding up trademark registration.
